Maggoo Sabsi (Shrimp with Vegetables)
Serves 4
  • 2 pounds shrimp (cleaned and deveined)
  • 3 tablespoons EVOO
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ lb sugar snap peas
  • ¼ cup chopped onions
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • ½ pound mushrooms
  • ¼ cup chopped green bell pepper
  • ¼ cup Gioia Luisa Pomecello
  • 3 cups cooked rice pilaf
  1. Fry cleaned shrimp in olive oil with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.Set Aside
  2. Sauté the remaining ingredients (except cooked rice) until cooked but still a bit firm. Combine with Cooked shrimp.
  3. While the above are being cooked, prepare
    ½ cup pomegranate seeds
    1 tablespoon butter
    ¼ cup Gioia Luisa Pomecello

    Warm the seeds, Pomecello and butter over medium heat until seeds plump. 1-2 minutes.

    Serve the Shrimp and Vegetable mixture over the cooked rice and spoon the Pomecello seed sauce on top the rice.
